Our Story
From the Field to the Lab — and Back
Brilliant Harvest was founded in Portland, Oregon, by a team of agronomists, data scientists, and software engineers who shared a frustration: the technology that could help farmers dramatically reduce water waste, predict yield outcomes, and respond to crop stress events already existed — but it was fragmented, expensive, and inaccessible to small and mid-size operations.
Our founders spent three years embedding with farming communities across the Pacific Northwest, learning exactly what problems growers faced and what solutions would genuinely make a difference in their daily operations. That deep fieldwork is baked into every feature we build.
Today, Brilliant Harvest serves farms ranging from 50-acre family operations to multi-thousand-acre commercial enterprises. We believe that sustainable agriculture is not a compromise — it is a competitive advantage, and our platform proves it with hard data every growing season.

Our mission is to empower farmers with precision technology that increases productivity, reduces environmental impact, and builds long-term resilience against climate variability. We invest in seed-stage and early-growth farms deploying IoT sensor networks, AI-driven analytics, and automated irrigation systems for sustainable agricultural outcomes.
We focus exclusively on production agriculture — row crops, specialty crops, and irrigated horticulture — where data-driven interventions deliver the most measurable outcomes. We do not serve decorative landscaping, aquaculture, or livestock-only operations.

Every feature is validated in real farm conditions before release. We do not ship features that look impressive in demos but fail in the field.
Data Transparency
Farmers own their data, full stop. We never sell, license, or aggregate farm data without explicit consent. Your operational data stays yours.

Brilliant Harvest closed its $1.9M Seed Round in January 2025. We are currently operating on this funding and focused on product development and farmer onboarding. Future funding rounds will be announced on this page.
